MUM'S & BUB'S PILATES

Suits all levels of fitness. These classes are aimed at rebuilding your body, strengthening & toning up. Pilates focuses on improving your posture & strengthening the core muscles necessary for you to achieve your pre-pregnancy level of health & fitness.  Babies can lie on the mats next to you or be involved in some of the exercises, but mainly the class focusses on YOU! Bring a mat, towel and water bottle fo yourself and your little one simply lies next to you during the class. The floor is carpeted, but please bring a blanket for them to lie on, and toys to entertain. Bumbo seats are great for little ones that like sitting up. Otherwise prams, baby capsules are also ok. The studio is on the ground floor with only a couple of steps. Feel free to feed or change during the class as required. Heidi is always happy to help hold any un-settled babies! Older siblings are also invited as long as you have toys/ipad etc to keep them entertained.

CORPORATE CLASSES

Have you considered a specialised Pilates program for your company? Exercise is fast becoming a necessity in people’s lives due to the sedentary nature of many of our work environments and lifestyles. Bad postural habits over the years can lead to muscle imbalance and eventually to pain. Pilates has not only continued to grow in popularity but has rapidly become an effective occupational health and safety initiative.

The adaptable programs are suitable for all environments and cater for all ages, genders and individual needs. The class is held during your lunch break and no sweating means no need to shower and waste valuable work time. All you need is a mat and a space large enough to hold the class. Classes can either be self-funded by the participants, or the organisation may agree to either make a contribution or subsidise the full amount.
